  6. Design  a  Draft  for  the  Amiga ( DAD ) was developed to assist you, the
  7. weaver,  to to design weaves without wasting time on the repetitive steps.
  8. Your  creativity  and  artistic flair can be expressed quickly without the
  9. drudgery of paper and pen.
  10.  
  11. Weaving  is  the  art of designing and producing cloth.  Traditionally the
  12. design of different patterns was done by a complex and very time consuming
  13. process  of  filling  squares on paper to represent the threads that would
  14. show in the cloth.  The computer ends all that drudgery !
  15.  
  16. This  demonstration  Design  a  Draft program for the Amiga was created to
  17. allow  you  to  view the ease of use, power and simplicity of this weaving
  18. program  and  assist you in deciding whether to purchase the program.  The
  19. saving  and printing functions have been removed and a message will appear
  20. in their place.
  21.  
  22. If you do not know how to or plan on taking up weaving than the program is
  23. not for you.  Feel free to play with the demonstration program but it will
  24. seem a bit mysterious !

  26. Similiarly  if  you  do not own, have access to or plan on buying an Amiga
  27. there  is no point to owning the program ...  there are programs for other
  28. major computers.

  30. To  find  out  more please read the DAD Demo Manual by clicking on the DAD
  31. Demo  Manual  icon  or  load  it into for favourite file reader.  Don't be
  32. afraid  to just click on the Start_DAD_Demo icon at any time and just play
  33. ...   the program is unbreakable.  You can just press the Help key for
  34. information or press the `l' key to load a weave called RosePath.

  36. The  full  program  can  be  easily  installed on a hard drive.  Different
  37. drawers  can  be  easily set up to hold different sets of your creativity.
  38. The  demonstration  version is best left as a distinct program disk.  Just
  39. start it after your workbench is running.

  41. We  encourage  you  to  make  copies of this version of Design a Draft and
  42. provide  it  to  other  Amiga  owners  or  post the disk on your favourite
  43. bulletin boards.  Given the number of drawers and files I encourage you to
  44. warp, lha  or  otherwise compress this disk intact -  separating the files 
  45. may drive you ( and the receiver ) crazy.

  47. The disk MUST be called DAD_Demo_Disk ... if you decompress the files onto
  48. a disk with another name you must rename it.
